There is ongoing clinical and scientific research on CBD oil, sponsored by the U.S. Government, for treatment of a wide range of conditions including epilepsy, diabetes, cancer, arthritis, alcoholism, and more. CBD has also demonstrated neuroprotective and neurogenic effects and its anti-cancer properties are being researched globally.

Why was the company set up? And how did you expand your company and its offerings over the years?
New Coastal’s mission is to become a trusted national brand, securing significant market share, and providing long term value and capital appreciation for its shareholders. Our core values are: to strive to be the best; to remain humble, and; to always give back. New Coastal’s efforts include pursuing opportunities to provide direct aid to veterans, troubled teens, and those adversely affected by the opioid crisis. Some of our basic product and service offerings use non-addictive CBD infused supplements to offer alternatives to effectively deal with pain, inflammation, sleep disorders, stress, anxiety, and addictions, which collectively affect over 150 million Americans on a daily basis.
What challenges did you face in your initial years? What can your peers learn from it?
The CBD infused product business is rapidly transforming in terms of consumer awareness, technological breakthroughs, medical applications, and within the regulatory environment. This has caused every business in this industry to reconfigure its plans, marketing venues, capital investments, and its business model in general. Companies that focused a great deal of capital in plant and equipment are now facing staggering losses as the industry transforms, making certain equipment obsolete and some business models no longer viable. New Coastal predicted this rapid evolution early and purposely did not invest in plant and equipment, choosing instead to pursue strategic partnerships with established enterprises whose core competencies would match well with ours, leveraging each other’s strengths for exponential gain. We feel this strategy has put us in a position to prosper in the future as competitors continue to be saddled with the fallout of those poor early decisions.
How do you stay relevant to the consumer interests and needs in this highly volatile market?
At the end of the day, we work for our customers. They tell us what products they want to buy and we work to supply them. That’s why it is so important to stay ahead of the pack in terms of understanding where consumer trends are going. It also helps to stay in the broad strokes rather than the niches. For example, over 100 million Americans routinely take some kind of product for pain and inflammation, over 40 million have sleep issues, while another 30 million have stress and anxiety issues. Our core consumer offerings address these most common issues rather than trying to find applications to address issues that affect only a few million people.
What factors make your company lead the current market?
Our market lead is assured by our unique CBD/DNA test. Our bodies produce their own cannabinoids, which can be supplemented by CBD, but both the amount we take and our perfect equilibrium are different for everyone. Without the New Coastal CBD/DNA test the consumer is literally just guessing, and that can create problems all around. Too much CBD can be bad for the liver, where it is metabolized. Not enough CBD won’t have the desired affect, becoming a waste of time and money. CBD can also have negative interactions with prescription medications - vital information to know prior to undertaking a CBD regimen. Only our test can provide these answers. Once we crack the code for each individual, they can embark on a CBD regimen with confidence and achieve the best results. Being the company that solves this issue for them tends to breed long term loyalty, especially when we provide specially formulated CBD products based on their unique circumstances.
What strategic partnerships have you formed?
New Coastal has purchased part of a CLIA certified laboratory where, in the near future, we expect to begin offering cancer genomics testing, plasma anandamide tests, as well as our CBD/DNA testing. We have purchased a stake in a pharmaceutical manufacturing company and secured manufacturing space for our own proprietary products through this acquisition. We have been named the “Official Wellness Provider to the NFL Players Congress”, the group that represents nearly 20,000 retired NFL players and their families. This alliance provides a visible platform to get the word out about our various product and service offerings. Through affiliation with UNEEK Music, we have access to some of the world’s leading entertainers for cross-promotions and endorsements. We have a working relationship with Endocanna Health, a scientific research company at the forefront of CBD understanding and with active research on other cannabinoids. We also have invested in Goodwill Partners, a charitable organization whose core mission we feel we are perfectly aligned with: to provide direct aid to the disadvantaged. New unique opportunities and technology along with leveraging these relationships will help New Coastal command a dominant presence in a dynamic new market.
