The company was founded in 2015 and its fundamental driving force is bringing innovative and transformative concepts to products in the areas of IoT and M2M.

Q. Why was the company set up? And how did you expand your company and its offerings over the years?
Our goal is to help enterprises in the Industrial, Retail & Life Sciences segment solve real-world business problems using IOT and Digital technologies.
First, we started with product engineering Services; then we saw an opportunity in the IoT Products, Platform space. And as we kept delivering successful project one after another, we kept expanding to the relevant industry domains and markets.
Today we have a presence in Asia, Australia, and North America. GND has enabled its clients in achieving CES 2017 award for the smart home segment by delivering a world-class Smart home hub with AI. Through consistent efforts and adaptation to technology, we are recognized as Top 20 Growing IoT companies in India.
Q. Brief us about the challenges GND face.
Like most start-ups, we also had our share of challenges. First one was to get the right team in place. Later, it was to position our products and solutions to large conglomerates. Though we had a few live customers, who were willing to share positive feedback, new prospects demanded POCs without any investment from their side. It was tough for us to stay self-funded and commit to the POC projects with some of the MNC prospects. As a team, we took on the challenge and delivered successful POCs and set new quality benchmarks. Eventually, most of our POC prospects turned in to new clients for us, which helped to fuel our growth.
Q. How successful was your first project roll out? Share the experience
Our first product was very successful, which set a benchmark in Low Power Wide Area Network based IoT Solution Market. GND worked as the OEM partner to one of India’s Largest Telecom Service provider to roll out its first LPWAN based IoT Solution in India. The technology was very new, fewer players in the market in early 2016. We designed and certified the product within a few weeks, which became one of the very few initial certified IoT products made in India. The result of our first product deployment gave us many global leads.
Q. What kind of responses have you received from your consumers over the years? How have they motivated you to shape your offerings/grow the company?
Our customers have always been motivating and co-operating with GND Solutions. That is due to our dedication and commitment to ensure the success of all project that we take up. Most of our business comes from “Referral”. In the year we began, we had customers only in Singapore; later, through Referrals, we got more projects in India and outside. We are proud to say that FIVE of our top customers are from the Fortune 500 list.
Q. Building a culture of sustainability inside an organization is very important to maintain a reputation in the global market. How is it true for your company?
People are our greatest assets. We strive to invest consistently in people development while adapting to technology changes. GND believes in building a sustainable culture, having people that are cross-functional collaborators. We discuss and drive goals top-down and ensure everyone understands how their contribution is adding to the company’s growth. We are building the Center of Excellence, creating Talent Pool with young engineers who are part of the future.

Q. Where do you see your company a couple of years from now?
We want to establish ourselves as a leading IoT Solution provider for Life Sciences, Industrial and Retail Segment. I want to see GND footprints across the key global markets with over 100 employees in the next 2-3 years.
