Redefining Secure Network Access for the Modern and Distributed Workforce: Perimeter 81

“We believe in the core values of acceptance, respect, transparency and trust. Our international team is united by a common goal to make cybersecurity easy, accessible and user-friendly for all.”

Now more than ever, there is a growing demand for secure and scalable solutions for network access. It is time to look past the legacy hardware solutions and look into the future with a more secure and modern approach to network security. Perimeter 81 is transforming the world of secure network access and helping businesses of all industries and sizes securely move to the cloud and empower their modern, mobile workforce. The company’s knowledgeable and experienced team comes together every day to deliver a truly innovative SaaS service and create a one-stop-shop for cybersecurity offerings.

How It All Began

Perimeter 81 was launched in 2018 as the second company of cybersecurity experts Amit Bareket and Sagi Gidali, who met at Tel Aviv University in 2012 while studying computer science. Perimeter 81 provides secure access to local networks, applications, and cloud infrastructures with one unified platform. By transforming the outdated, hardware-based security appliances into a cloud-based SaaS solution, the company is simplifying network security for the modern and distributed workforce and helping organizations of all sizes and in many industries to secure their remote workers.

Since its founding, Perimeter 81 has quickly gained traction in the Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Network-as-a-Service market, and is transforming the way companies consume cyber and network security. The company has been named a Gartner Cool Vendor, holds a patent for Automatic Wi-Fi Security, and is considered by industry leaders to be winning the “SASE space race”.

Perimeter 81: A Gartner Cool Vendor

The rise of Cloud and Mobility has created a mega-shift in the world of traditional network security. As Gartner’s “Cool Vendors in Network and Cyber-Physical Systems Security” report notes, “rapid changes to networks require new and adaptive approaches to securing them.”

Perimeter 81 is committed to being a part of this critical change. “We believe Gartner named us a Cool Vendor because our Secure Network as a Service is transforming the outdated 30-year network security technology that so many businesses rely upon, into a seamless and user-friendly SaaS service.”
