A Q&A Session with Tarek Mohamed, Founder & CEO of Sharetheload International

Why was the company set up?

The company was set up to find a real solution to the last mile. We want to create a universal system that uses biometrics to create trust and positive connections with the whole world.

How successful was your first project roll on? Share the experience.

Since attempting to create multiple projects, it’s been mixed. Some have been successful whilst others failed. This is the biggest project to date where I have bootstrapped and raised under $60,000 AUD. I have a global team where we are like a family. We all scream, go off at one another, etc. But we and whoever works with us are like brothers and sisters.

How do you build trust with your customers?

We have teamed up with global companies worldwide to identify fraud, live tracking and facial recognition. By doing so, we hope we will shape the environment so trust and respect and customers can be achieved.

“Fostering a culture of feedback is crucial to the success of every organization,” is it true?

This statement is true. I mean anything, feedback is important. With us, as I said, we are a family. Everyone tells everyone things-even me. I may be CEO/Founder/Director, but to me, this is just words. We all work together despite whoever is in charge.

How do you stay relevant to the consumer interests and needs in this highly volatile market?

We do this by reading many articles and by having social media to promote our product. From this, we can stay relevant to the consumer interests. In terms of this volatile market, we hope we can achieve by press releases and word of mouth to impact the world positively that we are all one despite religion, race etc.

Are your employees innovative thinkers and believers like you?

Absolutely! I pitched 3 years ago to a young software engineer who said it was a great idea. And from there on we both did what we had to do, weekly meetings and then more and more people joined us to help us be innovative.

Technology & Innovation are a perfect fusion, do you agree?

Innovation is ever-changing, as is our world. Technology is on the rise and connections amongst people are quite low. We hope to create a system that can meet technology and innovation with people.

What are the factors that make your brand most ‘innovative,’ and why?

I don’t look at the factors that make our brand innovative etc. I just want to change the world and what better way to address is by looking at the last mile. We used both technology and people to create change.

People like when companies are involved in social welfare/CSR activities, what do you say about this?

If you make enough money to have a decent house, decent family, etc, there is no excuse why we companies cannot be involved in tasks that will have a positive social impact. I wish the medical field and the wealthiest people came together to solve non-curable diseases such as cancer, AIDS, Spinal Cord Injury, etc.

As a question on sustainability, where do you see your company a couple of years from now?

From a couple of years from now, I would love to see Sharetheload International making a big difference in the world and to engage in activities that have positive impact on society.

Anything Else?

Yes, we are also in the development stages for having a product that would create a free market so to speak. By using and integrating our proprietary software people all over the world can sell anything and buy anywhere.

Having survived a plane crash that left him with a severe traumatic brain and spinal cord injury, visionary entrepreneur Tarek has always been eager to have a company that would change the world. He has over 10 years’ employment experience having worked across many sectors including Fitness, Web Development, Finance, Social Work, Policy and Education. His studies included a Bachelor of Commerce/ Bachelor of Laws with outstanding excellence in Economics.
