The Silicon Review
“Our integration of AI and automation clearly illustrates how this emerging paradigm can improve daily business processes and better secure our environments.”
Part of living in the digital era is understanding that our private information is more vulnerable than ever before. News stories about ID theft and data breaches abound, with the effects being felt by millions of consumers. With increasing cybersecurity threats cloud-based network security solutions are becoming increasingly prevalent and are continuing to grow at a significantly high rate. Organizations now already rely on software-as-a-service (SaaS) suppliers to provide best-in-breed applications and specialized cyber-security services.
Trustifi is a cyber-security firm featuring solutions delivered on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, with a patented postmarked email system that encrypts, tracks, and proves delivery. It is the first federally-accepted method of sending legal documents online. Trustifi’s solution provides any company dealing with sensitive data with absolute confidentiality, security, and legal compliance. The company leads the market with the easiest to use and deploy email security products providing both inbound and outbound email security from a single vendor.

Idan Udi Edry: Interview Highlights
Can you tell us about your services in brief?
Trustifi is a cyber-security firm featuring solutions delivered on a software-as-a-service platform. We lead the market with the easiest to use and deploy email security products providing both inbound and outbound email security from a single vendor.
The most valuable asset to any organization, other than its employees, is the data contained in their email, and Trustifi’s key objective is keeping the client’s data, reputation, and brand safe from all threats related to email. With Trustifi’s Inbound Shield, Data Loss Prevention, and Email Encryption, clients are always one step ahead of attackers.
To use email encryption successfully your recipient will need compatible software.
Recipients do not need any software to open and decrypt emails. In fact, Trustifi is one of the only email encryption companies that does not force registration on email recipients who do not have our platform. Recipients enjoy simple one click decrypt for the entire life of the email thread without ever having to log in or sign up for anything.
Trustifi can work virtually with any organization. There are add-ins for Outlook and Gmail. Business customers can also easily integrate Trustifi into their proprietary platform via Open API.
How does Trusitifi’s unique email architecture work?
The e-mail message from your trusted network of on-premise or cloud-based e-mail servers travels to Trustifi’s secure virtual private cloud storage which is fully encrypted with the AES-256 encryption algorithm. The encryption key is your private key which is stored and managed by Trustifi. Now, your data can not be duplicated, hacked, or modified and you can track what is happening with your message.
How does the Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) system secure the organizations from incoming threats such as spam, phishing, or malicious codes?
ATP conducts an in-depth search of every item in the email. Subject lines, sender’s info, links, images, and body content go through an extensive scrubbing before being released to the recipient. This process is conducted in milliseconds to prevent disrupting workflow for the organization and also ensuring security.
How do you deal with the “never-ending change” in digital transformation?
We continue to educate the market on new trends and work alongside industry leaders to ensure we are educated ourselves. We constantly practice ‘cyber hygiene’ to ensure we don’t fall victim to an attack and always remember it’s important to practice what we preach.
How do you market your services?
We are 100 percent channel focused. We currently are partnered with some of the largest distributors in the world.
Do you have any new services ready to be launched?
We just released a few very exciting new features a software-as-a-service (SaaS) email security company,
Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology: Trustifi’s new OCR tool brings AI to email security, auto-encrypting sensitive images. The company has just incorporated a new AI-enabled feature into its industry-leading email encryption and DLP (data loss prevention) solution that also works via Optical Character Recognition technology (OCR). This cutting-edge, integrated OCR tool scans email attachments such as images and PDF files. The tool recognizes elements such as a scan of a credit card or a screenshot of a financial statement and categorizes those attachments as sensitive. It then automatically encrypts the attachment, reducing the opportunity for employees/individuals to mistakenly transmit confidential material unprotected. Trustifi is one of the first email encryption solutions to deploy AI and automated OCR technology as part of a streamlined, one-click system.
SPAM Feature: Trustifi’s New Game-Changing Email Spam Detection Powered by AIimproves security for organizations that typically send classified, sensitive, or personally identifying data via email, especially in verticals such as healthcare, retail, and financial services. While other solutions rely solely on simple text analysis, which can miss many sensitive emails or attachments, Trustifi leverages the AI technology to provide users with a more advanced and effective solution. Our integration of artificial intelligence and automation clearly illustrates how this emerging paradigm can improve daily business processes and better secure our environments.
What are your trajectories for the next five years?
I believe it’s the same for everyone in the cyberspace as cybercriminals are getting smarter — we need to continue being ahead of the curve. I see no signs of them slowing down.
