How do The ROOT Brands® and DRC Ventures collaborate?
My wife, Dr. Rahm, is a scientific powerhouse. I am a strategist and architect. The ROOT Brands® delivers consumer-ready wellness innovations, while DRC Ventures is our incubator for scientific patents, tech, and fashion. Although independent, our companies are connected by a shared vision. Decisions are made collaboratively, accountability is mutual, and innovations flow seamlessly between us. We operate in tandem, separate symphonies on the same score - translating science and soul into meaningful solutions.
Can you share one product or outcome that has created real change?
Clean Slate is our foundational product that everything was built on. It is a proprietary detox supplement designed to help the body eliminate environmental toxins and heavy metals which are two of the largest contributors to chronic inflammation and fatigue. I have spent over two decades in the wellness space and this product represents the heart of our mission: helping people remove the root cause of their issues to ultimately be in better control of their health. How do you ensure your research translates into accessible solutions?
We do not lock our science in labs. Every product we develop goes through layers of formulation, third-party testing, and user feedback. Christina brings in the academic firepower, and we translate it into real-world utility. We ask: “Would I give this to my family?” If the answer is not a resounding yes, it does not go to market. Our job is to turn complex science into daily rituals, accessible, effective, and safe.
How do you validate your sustainability and wellness claims?
Transparency and integrity are non-negotiable. We depend on third-party labs, such as BSCG certifications and GMP. Global regulatory guidelines help us validate our claims regarding clean sourcing, non-GMO ingredients, and cruelty-free practices. Our global reach in 86 countries dictates that we meet the highest expectations.
What has been the biggest challenge in scaling your innovations?
Our biggest challenge is educating people while serving them; education is one of our 4 foundational pillars. We know we have created powerful, science-backed products - but explaining that in a world full of quick fixes and marketing hype is often a tough undertaking. That is why we built The ROOT Brands® as a community, not just a company. Through ambassador programs, education platforms, and global outreach, we are not just sharing products - we are sharing knowledge. That is how you create real change.
How do you and Dr. Rahm align your vision and execution across ventures?
Every Sunday night, we re-group - not just as business partners, but as people. We ask, are we aligned on our purpose? Are we building something meaningful? Our structure is simple: purpose first, people second, product third. We trust each other to lead in our own lanes and that trust has been the foundation of everything we have built.
What is next for your companies and your customers?
We are dedicated to increasing access and transforming wellness for all, not just the privileged. Our initiatives include launching global clinics, expanding AI-powered diagnostics, and innovating in skincare and nutrition. But at the core, it always comes back to the people - we are listening to what they need and formulating cleaner, more targeted products to address the issues that matter most. Whether it is detox, cognitive health, immunity, or longevity, our goal is to meet people where they are with science-backed solutions that work. If we can continue to do that while staying true to our values, the impact will speak for itself.
