Q. There are other reputed companies in the market. How are you a better provider?

What makes us unique from our competitors in the market is our continuous drive to produce new and high-quality products for our customers. We take pride in making sure that our bottles perform at a high enough level to meet our customers’ needs. HydroJug has gone beyond being just a water bottle company. We have created a tight-knit community of HydroJuggers who we encourage to pursue their goals and passions. Our customers are top priority, and we are always thinking of new ways to involve our customers in our designs. We feel that our commitment to our customers is unmatched by any other company in the current competitive market.


Q. Tell about the affordability of your product and targeted consumers.

When we first started HydroJug, our main goal was to create an affordable product that everyone could enjoy. We know that affordability is an important aspect of our customer demographic, which mostly includes younger individuals. As we have grown, we have continued to follow through on that goal and release affordable products. As far as our targeted consumers go, when we first started HydroJug, we thought our consumers were just fitness enthusiasts. However, we quickly learned that the interest reached more than that. We started seeing all different kinds of demographics being interested in HydroJug. Our demographic grew from athletes to nurses, stay-at-home parents, and really anyone looking to drink more water no matter what their fitness level was. Everyone needs to drink water, so we were able to expand our targeted consumer past fitness enthusiasts.

Q. Tell us about your material procurement process. How do you select the vendors?

We rely on our manufacturers to procure all of our materials. We are very thorough in our quality testing process. Our materials are always tested and approved by third-party companies. Even though this is an extra cost to us, we believe it is worth it to ensure we provide our customers the highest quality of materials. We have certain standards in place when selecting vendors and manufacturers, and we only work with them if they meet those standards.

Q. Do you have any new services ready to be launched?

Yes! We will be releasing a Glass and Stainless Steel HydroJug this month. We are excited about these products because it brings even more product options to our customers. We have listened to our customers’ feedback, and a lot of them wanted more heavily insulated bottles. We have also just released our Pro HydroJug line, which is our updated version of the Classic HydroJug. We came out with this line to make sure our products were top of the line and made the adjustments where they fell short. We are always looking for ways to improve the quality of our products.

Q. What does the future hold for your company and its customers? Are exciting things on the way?

Yes, we are very excited to see what the future holds. We are always brainstorming new and innovative products for our customers and trying to create products they haven’t seen or used before. You can also expect a wider variety of colors and designs on the way. HydroJug is for everyone, and we want every customer who comes to our website to be able to find their favorite color or sleeve design that fits their personality.

HydroJug was created when Hayden and his brother Jake Wadsworth were attending college at Weber State University. The brothers were inspired by a YouTube video of an athlete who was drinking water from a milk jug. The athlete complained about how there weren’t any quality jugs on the market and so the brothers snapped into action. HydroJug hit the market in 2017 with their flagship product; the half gallon water bottle. The brand began with only 3 color variants. Since then, HydroJug has put out over 40 color options and accessory products for the HydroJug. Over the past 3 years, HydroJug has grown by over 9,000%. Hayden and Jake’s entrepreneurial efforts have caught the attention of Forbes and Authority Magazine. HydroJug recently made its debut on the Inc 5000 list at #33 and is emerging as one of the fastest growing companies in Utah and Nationwide. The dynamic brother duo has achieved all of this while still in their twenties and are just getting started.
