Stellapps is one such end-to-end dairy technology solutions company – the first of its kind in India. Its suite of apps touches over two billion liters of milk annually. SmartMoo™ IoT Platform is the first step towards creating measurable value for all stakeholders including farmers. It provides measurable data for cattle insurance. The SmartMoo™ Cloud is capable of supporting data arising out of tens of millions of liters of milk through the milk production, procurement and cold chain flow across millions of farmers. Stellapps’ SmartMoo™ IoT platform acquires data via sensors that are embedded in milking systems, animal wearables, milk chilling equipment, and milk procurement peripherals. The data acquired is transmitted to the Stellapps SmartMoo™ Big Data Cloud Service Delivery Platform (SDP) where the Stellapps SmartMoo™ suite of applications analyze and crunch the received data before forwarding the analytics & data science outcome to various stakeholders over low-end and smart mobile devices. mooON^TM: Improve the productivity of cattle and maximize the herd performance with mooON^TM wearable and herd management applicationStellapps oon solution has two components: oon device & oon app. oon device is a pedometer for cattle which detects heat and various disorders based on their activities and their resting behavior. oon app is a herd management application which gives recommendations to optimize herd performance. It is monitored by live animal activity tracking, lameness detection & timely preventive health checkup, vaccination, deworming alerts. Reduced intercalving period can be achieved by estrus (heat) detection for on time artificial insemination & real-time alerts to vet/paravet for AI, PD test etc.

smartAMCU: Scale up your business profits by improving the efficiency of the milk procurement operation with smartAMCU. Stellapps smartAMCU is an Automatic Milk Collection Unit controlled by an android IoT device. It enables IoT-based, real-time acquisition and dissemination of milk procurement data at the collection centres. smartAMCU is integrated with smartCC, procurement ERP platform and farmer payment gateway (mooPay). Efficient milk procurement operations optimised by automated data capturing, cloud based procurement ERP, completely wireless system & centralized calibration and monitoring. Informed decision-making based on data is ensured by advanced reports & trend analysis for better decision making.

smartCC: Reduce total solid (TS) loss and efficiently manage milk procurement at the chilling centres with smartCC. Stellapps smartCC is a cloud-based chilling center management solution for milk procurement, controlled by an IoT device. smartCC enables real time acquisition and dissemination of milk procurement data, integrated with smartAMCU, mooFlow ERP and agent payment gateway.

ConTrak: Control and monitor cold chain operation and achieve better shelf life with ConTrak. It enables IOT-based, real-time management of cold chain with enhanced reporting and improved monitoring through web and mobile app portals which are applicable to Bulk Milk Coolers (BMCs), silos, cold rooms, deep freezers, etc. It acquires data from sensors which are embedded in animal wearable, milk procurement and chilling infrastructure. It uses this data to optimize farm and supply chain operations by providing data driven actionable insights.

Ranjith Mukundan is the Chief Executive Officer of Stellapps.  He has over 23 years of industry experience. Mr. Mukundan was previously, global head of telecom (VAS), Practice and head of CoE, product innovation, Wipro. He is currently working on digitizing the dairy industry to provide data-led premium market linkages for small holder dairy farmers. His vision is to unlock unprecedented value across the dairy supply chain via farm-to-fridge digitization of the largest ‘crop’ on the planet. He believes that the modular smartMoo IoT platform can help unleash this value for all the stakeholders in the dairy ecosystem.  He was earlier the Practice Head at Wipro in the Communications domain, delivering solutions for global clientele across USA & Europe such as Microsoft, AT&T, Nortel, Ericsson, British Telecom etc.

Ranjith holds a MS in Telecom & Software Engineering from Illinois of Technology, Chicago.
