50 Fastest Growing Tech Companies 2017
The Silicon Review
“Our mission is clear—to help customers succeed in their respective markets through the Power of Unified IT”
It’s noteworthy that the two primary corporate entities that ultimately formed Ivanti—LANDESK and HEAT Software—were both founded within a few years of each other more than three decades ago. LANDESK began as LAN systems in 1985 and HEAT started out as Front Range Solutions in 1989.
So perhaps its fate that their respective paths have merged into an innovation juggernaut determined to help customers succeed in their respective markets through the “Power of Unified IT”. These links offer brief snapshots into the histories and solutions of the key companies that today form Ivanti’s cultural and technology backbone.
When LANDESK and HEAT Software combined in January of 2017, the new company needed a new name. For nearly 30 years, LANDESK and HEAT offered user-centered IT solutions designed to increase user productivity while reducing IT security risk.
Over the years both companies changed. LANDESK acquired companies like Wavelink, Shavlik, Xtraction Solutions, and, most recently, AppSense. HEAT was created by combining FrontRange and Lumension. And in order to gather all these brands under one roof, the new company needed a new identity—and Ivanti was born. And since then, Concorde and RES have joined the Ivanti family.
Ivanti Is Where It Goes To Getting Work Done
One need to make sure that John—who hasn’t worked for the company since late 2014—can’t keep logging into the software. One must protect its organization from security threats, reduce logon times, track the IT assets, keep the user experience clean, and deliver IT service to the users more quickly. One also needs to make sure that the supply chain and warehouse teams are perfectly tuned. And for all those challenges, Ivanti is there to the rescue. Ivanti is the single solution for any organizations IT needs, working with the organization as not only a vendor but as the trusted partner.
Ivanti is headquartered in Utah just outside Salt Lake City, in an area of the United States that the New York Times recently called “the next Silicon Valley.” Ivanti has 36 offices in 23 countries. Employing around 2,000 people, Ivanti focuses on enabling organizations to gain control of service delivery, simplify service management processes, acquire real-time visibility across their services and infrastructure, and orchestrate the interactions of people, process, and technology for optimum service performance.
