This is a game changer for lead generation. It’s more personalised, relational and impactful than humans, and it’s simple to use” - Jeremy Basset, Super Benji Founder and CEO

Founded in 2024 by Jeremy Basset, Super Benji was created in response to the frustrations surrounding traditional outbound sales. Cold emails often felt robotic, LinkedIn messages lacked authenticity, and sales teams were overwhelmed by clunky spreadsheets and outdated templates that rarely converted. Jeremy, along with a team of experts in sales, psychology, and product design, saw an opportunity to change the game. They envisioned a more empathetic, human approach to outbound that still delivered at scale. That vision became Super Benji. Super Benji is a relationship-first outbound platform that helps consultancies, agencies, and B2B brands start conversations that actually convert. The platform combines intelligent automation with tailored, personalized messaging to drive outreach across email and LinkedIn. At its heart, Super Benji is built to foster genuine connections between businesses and their ideal prospects.

Each month, Super Benji provides clients with a carefully curated list of more than 300 potential prospects. These prospects are identified using advanced AI, but clients always have the final say before any outreach begins. Once approved, Benji conducts thorough research on each contact, diving into their blogs, podcasts, LinkedIn profiles, websites, and more to understand who they are and what matters to them. This research forms the foundation for a personalized strategy. For every prospect, Benji identifies a unique idea, solution, or opportunity that the client’s business can offer. This insight-driven approach results in personalized messages that resonate with prospects, delivered through a structured eight-step outreach sequence across both email and LinkedIn.

Super Benji offers the capabilities of a full-time sales researcher and strategist, delivering far more value and efficiency than traditional outbound methods. For £999 per month, clients receive the full prospecting and outreach service, along with strategic consultations from experienced B2B sales experts to help refine messaging and improve results. With clients ranging from major firms like Morgan Stanley to growing mid-sized consultancies and agencies, Super Benji has quickly become a trusted partner for companies looking to modernize their outbound efforts. Based in Oxford, UK, Super Benji is helping B2B sales leaders reimagine how they engage with prospects, proving that technology and empathy can work together to drive powerful growth.

In conversation with Jeremy Basset, Founder and CEO of Super Benji

Benji claims to deliver “33% higher deal value” by making outreach less transactional. How does your AI build genuine rapport, and what metrics validate this impact for clients like Morgan Stanley or CCEP Ventures?

Benji’s approach is built around relevance and timing. Instead of generic pitches, Benji crafts messages that are based on shared values, thought leadership, and human insight—like mentioning a podcast the prospect just launched, or referencing a hiring trend at their firm. The rapport comes from context. Benji’s NLP models are trained to detect tone, industry jargon, and behavioral cues to mirror the recipient’s language and priorities. This makes outreach feel more like a warm intro than a cold message. With clients like Morgan Stanley, we’ve seen an increase in the average deal value by 33%, thanks to higher engagement from senior stakeholders. Key metrics we track include:

Positive reply rate (not just open or click)

Length of follow-up chains (a proxy for real conversation)

Decision-maker involvement in early replies

Your platform uses “trigger-based nurturing” to re-engage cold leads. Can you share a success story where Benji identified a critical trigger (e.g., funding news or leadership changes) that led to a high-value deal?

One standout story involves a design consultancy working with PE-backed retailers. A previously cold lead hadn’t responded in months—until Benji flagged a trigger: the company had just raised a $20M growth round and brought in a

new COO with a track record in digital transformation. Benji immediately generated a hyper-specific message: congratulating the new COO, referencing her previous work, and positioning the consultancy’s offering in line with the growth strategy likely post-funding. Within 48 hours, the COO replied directly. That conversation turned into a £140,000 retainer agreement.

This kind of timely outreach would’ve been missed without automation. Benji scans over 60 data sources daily—ranging from TechCrunch to SEC filings and niche blogs—to spot moments of change. These micro-signals create macro opportunities.

With competitors like Outreach or Salesloft dominating sales tech, how does Benji’s “bespoke automation” differ in addressing niche needs, such as consultancy firms or creative agencies?

Benji is different. We focus on high-value, low-volume relationships. Our clients—often consultancies and agencies—sell complex, strategic services that don’t fit into a ‘sequence template’ approach.

Benji offers: Messaging which isn’t just personalized, it’s personable - logic based on ICP attributes, tone preferences, and market verticals.

Creative persona matching, where the AI adapts to your industry’s voice (e.g., witty for a creative agency vs. precise for a law firm).

Dedicated strategists who help craft campaigns with deep domain knowledge.

Simplified systems that integrate with our clients work flows, so clients can approve or tweak outreach on the go.

We don’t give you a tool and walk away—we become your AI-powered outreach team, tuned to your sector, voice, and value proposition.

Benji learns from user feedback to refine messaging. How does this iterative AI training ensure consistency with a client’s brand voice while avoiding generic automation pitfalls?

Benji uses a closed feedback loop with every campaign. When a client edits a message—changing tone, removing jargon, or tightening a pitch—Benji logs the correction and adapts accordingly.

This real-time tuning works through:

Custom language models trained on each client’s past successful messages.

Style tagging, where we label feedback (e.g., “too salesy,” “needs more clarity”) to fine-tune future drafts.

Shared knowledge base, so that Benji learns brand dos and don’ts across all team members.

Over time, Benji becomes a brand voice guardian—not just a message generator. Our clients often say Benji “writes like them, but better,” because the system never forgets what works.

What does the future hold for your company and its customers? Are exciting things on the way?

We want to help people with all elements of their funnel. When sales people do their job, everyone else keeps theirs, so we’re on a mission to help sales teams deliver more, without more budget. Benji is already crafting highly personalized email and LinkedIn messages. He’s also about to start writing hand-written letters as a follow-up, and we’re able to make AI calls, in the voice of our clients, to conduct follow-up calls.

We’re also looking at how we empower our clients to have calls that close. That involves sending briefing packs to our clients, telling them everything they need to know about the prospects who reply. We’re also launching a real-time sales coaching tool that guides you through your first call with each prospect.

Longer-term, we see Super Benji becoming the relational operating system for B2B sales—powering human connection across channels, teams, and time zones.

Meet the leader behind the success of Super Benji

Jeremy Basset, Founder and CEO

Super Benji was founded by Jeremy Basset. Jeremy spent 14 years at Unilever as a marketing director. In this role he realized what it was like to receive thousands of pitchy emails into your inbox. He then set-up a consultancy, trying to sell back into companies like Unilever and realized how much of a challenge sales was. Together with his team, they created a tool which automated sales for the consultancy and Co:cubed has continued to grow 20-30% year on year since. Realizing they’d solved not only their problem, but an industry problem, Jeremy span out Super Benji as a new startup in Jan 2024. By Nov 2024 they had launched the service and today they continue to grow 50% month-on-month as they onboard agencies & consultancies from around the world who are putting Benji to work on their sales funnel.
