Interview Highlights
Q. From your perspective, how is the industry you serve currently evolving? And where does Tecbound Technology stand at the moment?
Businesses aren’t interested anymore in ‘IT guys’ or IT companies that just fix IT problems, but in technology partners that help them to stay competitive, secure, and resilient. If companies were putting IT on the back burner, the Covid-19 pandemic was a wake-up call as a lot of businesses were not ready to navigate a situation like this.
Precisely, companies didn’t understand exactly what the cloud is and didn’t make the right moves at the right time. However, now, scores of companies are actively looking to move to the cloud to operate remotely. And more importantly, secure their IT infrastructure.
That being said, we understand the business of our clients and their needs and accordingly offer them tailored technological solutions.
Q. What is Tecbound’s point of differentiation?
Tecbound is one of the few IT providers in Canada with experience with the NCACR process for police agencies.
Besides, cybersecurity and business continuity should be the number one priority for every organization. With ransomware, hacks, attacks, vulnerabilities, and data theft affecting companies around the world daily, it’s just a matter of time before your business is hit. Tecbound Technology’s goal is to provide you with the best network security protection possible while also keeping your unique needs and budget in mind.
We work with the client’s team to implement procedures, policies, and technology tools to ensure business continuity.
Q. What strategies does Tecbound implement to ensure its clients receive the highest quality IT services?
We are in business because we exceed our clients’ expectations. We treat each client as though they are our biggest clients and go out of our way to serve them. We ensure a 10-minutes response time to your computer emergencies to minimize downtime, even on weekends.
Besides, we guarantee all projects will be completed on time and within a fixed quote budget. For sure, our clients won’t have to worry about hidden costs, going over budget, or missed deadlines. We also guarantee their complete satisfaction on every service call, or it’s free.
Q. What are Tecbound’s focus areas?
Most IT providers say all companies are the same that they all use computers and there is nothing unique about them. That is not the case. We understand our clients’ hectic and stressful work schedules and why it is critical to remove obstacles, frustrations, and technical problems to keep them productive. We understand their desire to eliminate waste, extra steps, workarounds, and manual labor.
Significantly, we take care of cybersecurity in all our services.
Q. How skilled is the Tecbound team of experts? And how do they bring value to the company?
Our management team has over 20 years of experience serving the IT industry. In addition, our specialists and experts contribute greatly to our collective knowledge and exposure.
Q. What new endeavors is Tecbound currently undertaking?
Currently, we are working on creating an incident response team for cybersecurity emergencies.
Q. Is there anything else you want us to highlight that we might have missed?
Canadian police agencies must submit a Net Connection Authorization Change Request (NCACR) every two years. This establishes their compliance with RCMP IT policies. We developed and utilized a scorecard to assess police agencies’ compliance standing and IT needs. Tecbound Technology is the only company that serves police agencies in the west.
