Throughout the world, Daon has developed identity assurance software that allows government and commercial enterprises to establish trust factor that someone is who they claim to be and currently it manages hundreds of millions of biometric identities around the globe. As a certified FBI Channeler, Daon processes criminal history background checks required as part of employment decisions, including approximately 90% of U.S. airport workers.
The Game Changing Platform Offered By the Company
Daon’sIdentityX is a multi-modal, vendor agnostic and future-proof identity services platform that addresses the full customer identity lifecycle. The key to trust in a digital identity is a unified, user-centric view of identity creation, use, and management. It is an omnichannel approach to biometric authentication, allows users to mix and match security factors of the past (e.g., passwords and tokens) with security factors of today (e.g., voice, fingerprint, facial, behavioral biometrics) as well as emerging factors of tomorrow. All these factors can be used individually or fused together to deliver the level of assurance desired.
Daon delivers solutions needed to empower mission-critical programs which demand the strongest levels of security and identity assurance and serves as a key technology behind leading financial institutions including Visa, Mastercard, USAA, BNP Paribas Wealth Management and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC).
