Employing a life sciences executive search firm to skillfully manage a hiring process from sourcing to placement and beyond is invaluable, especially in the life sciences industry where market competition is at an all-time high and top talent is often hidden in out of reach networks. In this article, we highlight the top reasons why it is imperative for life sciences biotech companies to employ an executive search firm such as BayBridge. Top life sciences executive search firms are prepared to efficiently source top talent in the market, and are completely devoted to this process, with extensive networks of quality candidates built up over time. Additionally, consultants will have a grasp of what the client is searching for beyond a standard job description and can ensure a fair and diverse approach to sourcing talent. Sourcing the highest quality talent means being able to access that talent at a moment’s notice.

The RSA Group is a leading executive search firm in global Life Sciences. Providing a unique combination of executive search and executive interims, they deliver results through data driven due diligence. Their Proof of Candidate approach is based on evidence and in-depth comparative analysis, supporting clients to make better hiring decisions. Large enough to be global and small enough to remain local, they are where you are: UK, USA, Germany, Switzerland, China, and Singapore.

These reports represent only the surface of their deep understanding of the talent equity that drives the industry and underlies successful recruitment across the life sciences. The company uses their research to better understand the profiles of successful life science leaders and use that knowledge to advise and help the clients across the pharma, biotech and healthcare sectors.

ATMP Experts

The Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) sector, an area of medicine specialised in gene, tissue and cell therapies, is expanding at an incredibly fast pace. The sector was valued at US$13.85 billion in 2021 and is expected to almost triple in size by 2030. However, this rapid growth is creating a talent shortfall as ATMP companies are struggling to find enough individuals with the right skills and knowledge to keep up with demand. The ATMP companies that are most successful at attracting talent are those with well-defined unique selling points (USPs). USPs for employees may range from cutting edge science and facilities, strong financial backing, a belief that they will be part of something special, impressive and inspiring leaders in the business or an attractive equity package. Companies must ensure that whatever makes them the most desirable employer is clearly spotlighted to help attract potential candidates and distract them from the competition. Speed of recruitment is another crucial way to secure the best individuals. Streamlining the recruitment process and ensuring that high quality candidates have the opportunity for a face-to-face interview as soon as possible is a good approach. The RSA Group can help. The RSA Group are experts in ATMP recruitment and have supported multiple ATMP businesses during inception and expansion across various regions in the UK, Europe, the US and Asia.
