When someone is accused of committing a crime, they need to hire a criminal defense lawyer to help them. This lawyer will be working on their behalf as they represent and defend their client throughout the legal process. Criminal attorneys are critical in ensuring that innocent people are not wrongfully convicted or punished for crimes that they did not commit. A trusted criminal justice attorney often works closely with those accused of a crime and their family members to ensure that all the facts are known, any legal defenses are properly presented in court, and any possible evidence is collected.

Weinstock Levin law firm was originally founded by Joseph A. Levin (now a New Jersey Superior Court Judge), Ed Weinstock and Kirsten Levin. Joseph Levin and Kirsten Levin were partners in Law Offices of Joseph A. Levin from 2002 through 2016 and then partners in Levin Pisetzner Levin from 2016 to 2019. Ed Weinstock was the principal in Weinstock & Associates from 2009 to 2019, when the two well-respected criminal defense firms merged; forming what is now Weinstock Levin.

The attorneys at Weinstock Levin aggressively defend adults and juveniles accused of serious criminal offenses, disorderly and petty disorderly persons offenses, and driving while intoxicated (DWI) and driving under the influence (DUI) matters. Also, the attorneys represent clients in domestic violence matters (restraining order hearings and contempt hearings) and gun forfeiture and denial proceedings. Further, the attorneys provide high-level representation in civil litigation.

Taking the lead in your criminal case

They take a proactive approach to criminal defense. Instead of sitting back and hoping the prosecutor offers a plea bargain, they get to work. They will investigate the charges against you and identify weaknesses in the prosecution’s case. If the police violated your civil rights at any point, they will find out and fight to get any resulting evidence thrown out. By aggressively defending you, the firm can even the playing field and ensure that the court treats you fairly. Their attorneys have an impressive level of experience in criminal defense. Ed Weinstock has been selected to the Super Lawyers list and has worked as a prosecutor in Union County, which gives him an insight into how prosecutors think. Joined by longtime defense attorney Kirsten Levin, they provide comprehensive representation against a full range of criminal charges. The firm will work to get you out of jail while your case is pending and do everything possible to help you keep your freedom.

Aggressively defending the accused

If you have been charged with a crime, you need an aggressive attorney who will fight for your future. At Weinstock Levin, their attorneys have more than 60 years of combined experience defending the accused in Atlantic City and all of South Jersey. Attorney Ed Weinstock is a Certified Criminal Trial attorney in New Jersey and a former prosecutor. Not only do they understand how the “other side” thinks, they have a history of successful trial outcomes. The attorneys have successfully obtained non-prosecution decisions, dismissals and acquittals for their clients. In a criminal defense case, every minute counts. When you hire Weinstock Levin, attorneys Ed Weinstock and Kristen Levin don’t leave a second to waste. They get to work immediately, working diligently with a team of experts and an investigator to build your case and identify weaknesses in the prosecution’s case.

Passionate personal injury attorneys who will fight for you

Working with an experienced personal injury lawyer can mean the difference between receiving the bare minimum from your insurance company and getting the maximum amount of compensation to which you are entitled. At Weinstock Levin, they aggressively pursue personal injury and tort claims on behalf of clients in South Jersey and the Jersey Shore who have been physically or materially harmed by the negligence of others. They handle all personal injury claims on a contingency fee basis, and there is no cost or obligation to discuss your case in an initial consultation with their personal injury attorney.
