Interview Highlights

Q. As a journalist, I find YuviTal quite striking. From the emotional branding standpoint, it has that appeal. How did you come up with the brand name? And please brief us about the history so far.

Along with me, YuviTal was co-founded by two other individuals, namely Lior Klibansky and Lior Levi. The company was named in memory of Yuval Dagan and Tal Ifrach, two young soldiers who tragically lost their lives during a military operation (Operation Protective Edge) in Israel in 2014. I visioned the company to be doing something good, in memory of them. Both Yuval Dagan and Tal Ifrach were part of my unit and I was their Commanding Officer (IDF).

Q. How does YuviTal empower organizations and improve their members’ lives?

Our machine learning technology incentivizes members to make healthier choices, primarily health-centered. We provide organizations with advanced real-time data to receive a full picture of member activity and lifestyle. Utilizing the data, these organizations can make smarter administrative decisions and save costs by creating a more effective member experience.

Not only have we empowered organizations to make a difference and change their employees' lifestyles, but we have also witnessed a 51% increase in intense physical activity after using our platform, a 92% increase in daily steps, 92% of individuals reporting a positive lifestyle change, and a 98% satisfaction rate among our users.

Q. Can you introduce us to your solutions? What are their key features?

YuviTal as a whole is a digital rewards program and loyalty platform which is composed of four different key solutions.

As a whole, we are committed to every task that we take on.

We have been collaborating with Clalit Health Services (the biggest HMO in Israel and 2nd largest in the world) for some time now, and one of our joint projects is the development of their Clalit Active app. Clalit announced not too long ago that it had passed the 660, 000 user milestone, and the app won first prize in the Clalit Health Services Quality and Innovation Annual Conference.
