Pek Pongpaet, Managing Partner and Founder: Pek is involved with the San Jose Chamber of Commerce and supports the growth and development of new local businesses in Silicon Valley. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Pek has earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago, graduating in 1998. Prior to founding Impekable, Pek worked in research development at Accenture Technology Labs and agency at Roundarch. Pek has also been involved in numerous mentorships throughout his professional career including advisory work for 500 Startups and TechStars.

In his younger years, Pek was a competitive Wushu martial artist, placing in regional, national and international tournaments. His martial arts experience led him to motion capture roles for 6 Mortal Kombat video games spanning 10 years. Pek and his wife enjoy traveling as well as experiencing many different cuisines through the various restaurants in the San Francisco Bay area, where they reside.
