Why was the company set up? How did you select the vertical and decide to be a part of the global platform?

The converging world of IOT smart connected and intelligent devices with cloud marketplaces, analytics and machine learning will usher in an era of massive productivity gains the world has never seen before. It’s changing the way businesses will operate. It will enable them to transform from product centric business to service based business. These services will be subscribed to and these subscriptions will produce billions if not trillions of transactions or events in the coming years. That’s where LogiSense fits in. We develop a communications and IOT monetization platform that processes these events into monetizable outcomes, enabling our customers to deliver new and innovated business models, value based pricing schemes and recurring revenue service models to their customers.

Tell us about your first product that was launched?

EngageIP Usage Rating and Billing was our first product and still remains to this day with decades of focused innovation and state of the art development methodologies geared towards solving the most complex billing and revenue management challenges faced by service providers.

How successful was your first project roll on?

We learnt a tremendous amount about the pain our customers were facing when it came to monetizing complex B2B and B2B2X services. The rigidity of their commercial terms as a result of not having a flexible monetization platform that could meet the expectations of their customers and the frustration within the teams of folks who had to override or perform tasks in a manual fashion to accommodate rapidly changing business environments was becoming huge burden. It was a challenge to incorporate all these elements early in the platform, but with determination and persistence we managed our product cycles carefully and evolved our platform into one of the most flexible and robust in the market place today.

What were the grounds on which you have expanded your company and its offerings over the years?
We take a customer centric approach to our solution offering, especially that of the end customer. What we are now seeing is the realization of a changing shift in end customer value proposition to pricing models that are more reflective of the perceived value of the service being delivered as opposed to simple long term subscriptions. Business models need to evolve and provide an incremental value on top of existing subscriptions and also enable new revenue streams. We are service provider agnostic and our motto is; any service, over any medium, from any provider. Our platform is designed to allow any service provider to apply innovative business models to new and existing products and services.

What do you feel are the reasons behind your product’s popularity?
Our platform is proven, reliable and we quickly adapt to new disruptive pricing strategies and business models that help our customers differentiate in the market. Our goal is to provide our partners with a platform that can grow and evolve with their business. This is not just limited to tools that help our customer’s improve upon their top line revenue objectives. Operationally, we continue to help our customers further automate their business processes by eliminating manual tasks with structured workflows and API’s that integrate seamlessly into 3rd party systems, thus providing the market with a complete monetization platform that not only helps grow revenues but also manage operating costs.

Where do you see you and your company a couple of years from now?
Our focus has been and will always remain on solving the hardest and most complicated monetization problems faced by the industry. The IoT is in the process of completely disrupting the traditional way of doing business. With more and more products becoming “connected products,” manufacturers are now both producing their products and trying to figure out how to meet customer demands for a better experience, more services, more flexibly in product usage, etc. To multiply revenue potential, IoT companies are starting to look at long-term value creation. Rather than selling customers a single, self-contained product and letting their relationship end right there and then, they need to engage through multiple touch points and create a deeper, long term relationship between the customer and the brand.
