Being Different in the domain
Since the group is operating two businesses, one is Security and another one is Facility in Property Management business. On the security side, they are probably the only security company which is Non Unionized and also have no political alignments. Manjit Rajain, Executive Chairman
A graduate from Punjab University, Manjit joined Army at 19 years of age. After giving his few years to Indian Army, he then joined police and has served in Jammu & Kashmir during the peak of terrorism. His interest in business pushed him to become an entrepreneur and being from defense and police background he thought of setting a security firm. In the year 1995 he came up with Peregrine Guarding which is now a mature company with 71 offices in India and overseas, 1800 client and around 45000 people on board. A successful entrepreneur, Manjit has received many awards and accolades individually and for his venture. A proud father, Manjit has motivated his sons to follow his path of entrepreneurship to an extent. “The elder one had joined me a year back; he is a graduate from New York University & post graduate from Yale University. Before coming to India he used to be a Banker. And the younger one is still pursuing his studies.” Said Manjit
