Saving Time, Saving Money, and Delivering a Better Client Experience: Doxly

thesiliconreview-haley-altman-ceo-doxly-19Secure Portal for End to End Transaction

Secure Portal for End to End Transactions Doxly was built with one simple vision: transform the archaic, chaotic process of managing legal transactions into a streamlined, efficient process. Built by lawyers, for lawyers, the Doxly platform exists to remove frustrations inherent in legal transactions. Doxly helps lawyers deliver better client experiences while building stronger practices.

The Doxly Story

The idea for Doxly was born at 1 A.M. while Haley (CEO & Founder) and her colleague, Elizabeth Brier, sat surrounded by hundreds of manila closing folders, hunting through thousands of pieces of paper for one missing signature page. A multi-million dollar closing scheduled for the next day hinged on that one page. At that moment, they realized there had to be a better way. In 2016, Haley left Ice Miller to start Doxly and transform the legal transaction management process. Doxly is backed by seasoned software executives and High Alpha, an enterprise cloud venture studio.

Manage the Entire Legal Transaction Process from Diligence To Closing

Signatures Simplified

The firm’s centralized solution allows attorneys to build signature blocks, pages, and packets; send and track for each signatory— automatically. Internal and external parties can also communicate directly within the tool, alleviating the possibility of miscommunication by tying communication to the relevant document.

Build and collect dynamic signature pages for each signatory. Create closing books for distribution to the parties upon closing with a few simple clicks. Monitor post-closing deliverables with Doxly’s workflow tools.

Insights & Reporting

Gain instant insight into how deals are staffed and understand and manage attorneys’ bandwidth. Unlock valuable data from your transactions with customizable reports that analyze deal term trends. Leverage practice performance metrics, including number, size, and type of deals closed, for marketing and business development purposes. Maintain a complete record of the transaction for audit and insurance purposes.

The Ultra-Modern Leader

Haley Altman, CEO, and Founder:

Haley has over a decade of experience working on complicated transactions in the corporate, private equity, and venture capital verticals. Her practice has extended from the Midwest at Ice Miller to the West Coast at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Over the years, she has completed thousands of transactions from small debt transactions to $800M public-private mergers opposite attorneys from around the world.

Haley has spent the last ten years of her professional career working for some of the top transactional law firms in the U.S., Ice Miller LLP in the Midwest and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati on the West Coast. As she immersed herself more in her career and began to build her book of business, she realized that clients selected legal counsel for the value they could bring to the client in addition to technical legal skills. Haley looked for ways to showcase her technical legal skills and drive value for clients. Through this process, she discovered the necessity of a resource that could easily allow her to better structure her deal-by-deal workflow and better prioritize the work she was doing to showcase the value she brought to transactions.

“Work with us today to master the transaction process with a solution trusted by legal leaders.”
