The Silicon Review
Manjrasoft Pty Ltd is an innovative provider of choice for application acceleration services and solutions over Cloud. Manjrasoft was founded in early 2008 by veteran IT practitioners who have dedicated their careers to Utility, Distributed and Cloud Computing.
Manjrasoft's core IP underpinning its technology Aneka, the market oriented Cloud Application Platform (CAP) was initially developed with strong support from the Australian Research Council (ARC) and Australian Government Department of Innovation, Industry, Science & Research (DIISR). The developed technology enables software applications requiring high computation capability to run across a number of networked computers and servers, delivering increased performance and efficiency in a cost effective way. Customers of Manjrasoft benefit by deriving greater computing capability out of existing assets and can also implement new computing models that leverage online computing resources (such has Amazon’s Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) and GoGrid server farms, which are available via the internet effectively "for rent"). With its breakthrough performance advancements, Aneka enables Independent Software Vendors, System Integrators, Enterprise IT, Education and Government entities to take advantage of the economics of using the private and public cloud for the secure delivery of applications and removes the barriers for broad Cloud Computing adoption.
Manjrasoft's flagship product, Aneka CAP, provides solutions that enable organizations to rapidly build accelerate, manage Clouds and their applications. Aneka CAP has already been used in many interesting applications including life sciences, engineering, software development, gaming and CAD rendering/creative media, which are successfully deployed on enterprise or public Clouds.
Some of Manjrasoft prominent customers include:
Manjrasoft has teamed up with various technology leaders such as Amazon AWS, GoGrid, IBM, Microsoft, VM Ware, Citrix, Redhat, Autodesk and Intel to provide customers with even more robust solution over cloud computing.
Aneka: Enabling .NET-based Enterprise Grid and Cloud Computing
Manjrasoft is focused on the creation of innovative software technologies for simplifying the development and deployment of applications on private or public Clouds. The company’s product Aneka plays the role of Application Platform as a Service for Cloud Computing. Aneka supports various programming models involving Task Programming, Thread Programming and MapReduce Programming and tools for rapid creation of applications and their seamless deployment on private or public Clouds to distribute applications.
Aneka technology primarily consists of two key components:
One of the notable characteristics of Aneka PaaS is to support provisioning of private cloud resources ranging from desktops, clusters to virtual datacenters using VMware, Citrix Zen server and public cloud resources such as Windows Azure, Amazon EC2, and GoGrid Cloud Service.
The potential of Aneka as a Platform as a Service has been successfully harnessed by its users and customers in three various sectors including engineering, life science, education, and business intelligence.
Cutting Edge Technology at Your Door: Manjrasoft Solutions
Distributed 3D Rendering:
For 3D rendering, Aneka enables in completing jobs in a fraction of the usual time using existing hardware infrastructure without having to do any programming.
Education and Training:
Help educate a new generation of students in the latest area of computing. Add Parallel, Distributed and Cloud Computing into curriculum. The company provides teaching tools, software and examples to get program up and running quickly.
In the life sciences sector Aneka can be used for drug design, medical imaging, modular & quantum mechanics, genomic search etc. Using Aneka, simulations take hours instead of days to complete enabling to improve quality and precision of research by carrying out multiple simulations and decrease time to market by doing parallel simulations.
