Google finally decided to merge its myriad music streaming services into one: Report

Search giant Google has lastly decided to put an end to the chaos that is its music streaming service was creating. YouTube Red, YouTube Music and Google Play Music will now be merged into a new service.

At present, Google's offerings for streaming music are as follows:

Google Play Music and YouTube Red are subscriptions services for streaming music and the final tender a few profit for YouTube browsing in all-purpose. A YouTube Red subscription allows user to save music videos offline and removes ads from videos. The user also gets elite access to original shows. A Google Play Music subscription gives user the limitless music streaming (audio) on their phone. Oddly sufficient, a Google Play Music subscription at present gives user the access to YouTube Red as well, and vice versa. YouTube Music is free and open to all, but works like usual YouTube and the music videos can't be view offline.

The YouTube's head of music made a corroboration to The Verge that all these services will be merged into one, but didn’t uttered something about precise timeline for the same. The declaration was expected as the teams for YouTube Music and Google Play Music were merged into one in February this year.

Uniting the music services will help the giant Google to merge its pains and also in a way will craft it easier for the company to pact with performers and record labels, adds The Verge. If nothing else, the amalgamation will make simpler the lives of the end users.
