Google is all set to release its much awaited second generation Google Pixel devices in early October. These devices: Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL have been the most speculated and talked about devices this year.
Rumours regarding their specifications have been doing the rounds online ever since the official announcement stating its release around October. The Pixel 2 XL is expected to sport a 5.99 inch screen with bezel-less display which is sure to attract customers. Pixel 2 XL will be made by LG while HTC will continue to manufacture Pixel 2.
Pixel 2 is expected to come with a 4.97 inch FullHD OLED display with larger bezels compared to Pixel 2XL while it promises a 5.99-inch QHD OLED display. Rumours about the absence of audio jacks on both the Pixel devices have been circulating in various sites. Also, both the devices are to come with dual cameras on the back. The phones have also been rumoured to be included with Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 chipset and will run either on Android 8.0 or Android Oreo.
The iPhone 8 which is slated for release in September is competing with the Google Pixel devices with some of the most groundbreaking technologies in the market. However, it remains to be seen which device will win over more hearts.
