Retiring from there in early 2Q10, he became compelled to recreate the culture and scale in a new style IT services player. Highstreet was formed in late 2011 to become a major player in a narrower model than his previous activity, focusing primarily on ERP and Cloud/Managed Services. After the new venture turned profitable organically, Mr. Slingerlend attracted two private equity firms to help Highstreet scale more quickly, thus taking advantage of increasing demand in the ever-growing IT Services industry in its best value-added sectors. Three additional acquisitions have positioned Highstreet for industry prominence. He leads Highstreet’s strategic development and cross-model performance. He has a BSBA from the University of Denver, an MBA from Wayne State University, and briefly served in the U.S. Army.
