Zephyr worked in the testing space for more than 20 years and had the chance to work with a variety of solutions in the market. We noticed that all of those tools were still missing capabilities that would allow Dev/QA teams to align their initiatives and work in sync, so we decided to build it ourselves. A lot of other factors influenced this decision, including the global outsourcing of IT/Dev/QA, increasing adoption of Agile/DevOps methods, and enterprises migrating to the Cloud. Testing had to catch up, and we’re proud to provide them responsive and affordable test management products that can grow and scale with them as their processes evolve.

Zephyr takes enormous pride in sharing that it has won the Red Herring Top 100 Global, 2015 Award. Widely recognized as one of the industry’s most prestigious recognitions, the Red Herring Top 100 Global Awards highlight the most exciting private technology startups from Asia, Europe and the Americas.
After reviewing over thousands of privately held companies from around the world; the award was conferred to only the best in the industry. From a diverse pool of candidates, 100 companies were picked and rewarded which were judged based on more than 20 competing criteria such as financial performance, technology & innovation, customer success, growth and market maturity, etc.
The three-day awards ceremony was held from November 17-19th in Los Angeles at Sofitel Hotel, in Beverly Hills. The Red Herring Global 2015 forum also featured presentations and keynote addresses from the leading investors and CEO’s of innovative companies. The event brought together some of the finest industry stalwarts to discuss the latest trends and challenges in the global business space.

Prior to Zephyr, Johnson was President and CEO of Social Solutions, where he exceeded the revenue goals and grew the company to more than 250 employees in three years. Before Social Solutions, Johnson led teams at Haley, Oracle and Curam Software.
