“In today’s fast-paced environment, Solver is a proud leader in delivering innovative, business driven solutions to the global marketplace.”
Organizations around the world are always on the lookout for innovative solutions to truly understand their data and thereby make better business decisions. Based out of Los Angeles, USA, Solver is changing the face of Business Intelligence (BI) with next generation, collaborative and action-driven solutions for planning, reporting and analysis to deliver complete insight into every facet of the enterprise.
Solver started in 1996 as a consulting and software company focused on financial reporting, consolidation and budgeting. The company quickly aligned with Microsoft and its popular SQL Server platform. From the beginning, Solver got used to working with a partner channel composed of ERP resellers. Still to this day, this channel strategy is at the core of the company’s culture and go-to market strategy. At the end of 2009, Solver launched a completely new product offering called BI360, based on modern technologies and demands for easier, self-service business intelligence and corporate performance management technologies. In less than 7 years, BI360 has tens of thousands of users world-wide and has found its place onto the Gartner Group CPM Magic Quadrant the past two years. Today, Solver works with partners like Microsoft, SAP, Sage, Acumatica, Intacct and Acumatica to deliver world class reporting, budgeting, dashboards and data warehousing through the BI360 product suite.
Helping Clients and Partners increase their Productivity & Efficiency
Solver, with its BI360 suite, is well positioned in the current market scenario where users are seeking solutions that don’t require IT or technical resources to build and maintain business intelligence reports, dashboards, budget models, etc. With the capability to deliver both on premise and cloud-based deployments, and with Excel as well as web and mobile user access options, the BI360 solution offers customers “the best of both worlds,” based on their requirements. Solver, with its global offices and extensive partner channel, can assist customers around the world with support and implementation services.
The company is positioned mainly in the mid-market in the United States, and in the mid to enterprise market in international markets. As technologies quickly evolve, Solver uses deep research and rapid development methodologies to ensure that it can deliver the optimal benefits based on the latest proven technologies to its customers.
Beyond a modern, complete business intelligence suite with a powerful data warehouse that enables complete insight across a company’s data sources, Solver is about much more than a great software product. Solver has built a global network of offices and partners that operates as a family with tight bonds and collaboration across borders, to maximize the benefit for their customers.
The Complete BI Suite – BI360
BI360 for the most part targets accounting and finance professionals in need of automating their reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and analysis processes. These professionals can quickly adapt to BI360 because it offers the familiar Microsoft Excel user interface to design reports and budget templates. They can also use the powerful, but user friendly BI360 Data Warehouse to solve the problem of combining key data from across the company’s data sources in order to deliver the best possible reporting and analytical solution to their management teams and end users. Most customers first deploy one or two BI360 modules, such as reporting and budgeting, and then extend this to full BI capabilities by adding the BI360 Dashboard Data Warehouse modules, along the way eliminating the need to learn, support, and maintain numerous existing legacy report writers and manual spreadsheet processes.
The company’s BI360 solution is a horizontal solution not focused on a specific industry, but rather, the product focus is on the office of Finance and Accounting departments. Some of the bigger clients include companies like Quicken Loans and Airbus. Solver also has customers across all major industries, including a large number of Not for Profits, government organizations, educational institutions and many professional sports teams.

Solver operates in ten countries with its own offices, and its partner channel also extends to numerous other markets as well. In the next few years, Solver will continue to establish international offices to support the global partner channel and customer needs to all corners of the world.
Looking at the Future
As a BI company focused on delivering on premise and in the private cloud, during the course of 2016, Solver will also start to offer its solution as a public cloud service. It is also expanding its relationships with existing ERP vendors and will partner with other complimentary software companies as well.
