Watch out for Apple’s HomePod

Apple’s new innovation is a real out-of-the-box as it has unveiled HomePod that shall enrich listening to misc experience way better than what Amazon Echo has been doing it since its launch.

“We want to reinvent home music,” Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO said at the company’s WWDC keynote. And it has also lashed out Siri from incorporating it in the system, mostly focused on music.

The device shall come with Wi-Fi speaker that has seven beam-forming tweeter array, a custom subwoofer, multi-channel echo cancellation, and acoustic modeling in an Apple-y little futuristic shell, explained Apple’s SVP of Global Marketing Phil Schiller. Schiller also said that the device will incorporate both smart and good speakers for users. HomePod is though discussed widely in the podium; it is not yet ready to be released and shall be shipped later this year.

The best thing is that it can scan the space around it and enhance the audio quality accordingly. But placed in a big hall room with booming speakers, probably it can be hard to know which song is being played. But there is no doubt that the speakers will work accurately. You can actually talk to the speaker to play anything in Apple music library, you can say “play more songs like that,” or “I like this song.”

Other than that, you can also enquire Siri about: news, weather report, sports scores and many more. And if you have the HomeKit-enabled devices, you have the power to control lights, garage door, air conditioning, etc with this speaker and all this for $349.
