Senioradom and Sigfox collaborate to deploy innovative IoT-driven telecare solution in China

Recently, telecare company, Senioradom and Sigfox, the leading IoT connectivity service, collaborated to deploy a telecare solution incorporated with different movement sensors and door opening detection, as well as an alert and geo-localization necklace. The agreement was signed in the presence of the French President, Emmanuel Macron and Chinese President, Xi Jinping.

The Chengdu High-Tech Industrial Development Zone has committed to an investment of around 300 million Euros to deploy an Internet-of-Things solution in 20 biggest cities of China for better protection of senior citizens, following a one-year, 1500-person trial, beginning in 2018 in the city of Chengdu.

The solution relies on software driven by auto-learning algorithms that keep a track of the beneficiary’s behavior and send alerts in the event of abnormal behavior arising due to a slip or fall, seizures or deteriorating mental health condition. The algorithm was developed by Senioradom and has been operating successfully in France from the past 3 years.

Signing the partnership agreement, Ludovic Le Moan, CEO of Sigfox, said: “I am honoured to sign this agreement today, as it is the product of many months of hard work, both by our teams and those of our partner Senioradom.
