In order to build up innovative ideas for government service delivery, a new collaboration lab is being initiated. The government agencies will work alongside a digital transformation agency tagged with the private sector. It is essential that cross agencies projects take place and by doing so the citizens’ interaction with the government might change. For now, the Department of Human Services (DHS) is expected to be the first ones to host the co-lab.

The work that is undertaken within the co-lab will give better results and further coordinate digital service delivery across DHS. Not only that, it is even said to scale the wider government. Furthermore, the private sectors can also enjoy the DTA’s co-lab in order to adopt new approaches with the best practices. These private sectors can attain insights on the latest tech that can improve the delivery of government services. The co-lab is also said to accelerate DTA’s goal on lifting digital capabilities within and across the government.  For now, DHS is undertaking this new innovative idea to the next level. Many say that this is one of the largest business-led IT system transformations and will be creating a huge impact in the future as well. Let us see what happens in the future.
