Google Takes Over Startup Grap...Google has made an announcement that it will buy Finland –based graphics testing company, Graphics Fuzz. The announcement was made public on Tuesday but none of the companies disclosed the financial terms of the deal.
Google believes that the acquisition will help the company to connect its licensed graphics driver technology with Android’s platform.
GraphicsFuzz’s technology is very sophisticated as it has paved a way for many software vendors to create more reliable products, which is in demand in this technology-driven planet. GraphicsFuzz founders Alastair Donaldson and Hugues Evrard including the other workers will now be a part of Android Graphics team of Google.
The graphics testing company’s key products include ShaderTestGLES that help to find bugs like crashes, errors, and complication within a graphics driver by utilizing shaders and programs. The company also have released test driver products for graphics APIs like WebGL, Vulkan and many others.
GraphicsFuzz worked with AMD, APPLE, INTEL, Nvidia, and Qualcomm. The companies provided them GPUs for conducting testing over a different framework that touts automatically to find bugs in graphics drivers along with the debugging process.
It is believed that the acquisition is a support for Google’s progress, as well as a chance for GraphicsFuzz to make a positive impact in Google’s platform.
