It can sometimes be hard to find time to finish a video game. Some video games are too long which often make the gamers less likely to be interested. Hence, gaming industries are coming up with short video games that can be finished during a weekend.

One such game series is Midnight Scenes, which are the perfect weekend Halloween games. They are a series of short, eerie games which give the vibe of the popular TV series, The Twilight Zone. The games have the similar spooky black-and-white aesthetic and settings. The Midnight Games are developed by Octavi Navarro, a game-artistwho also created The Librarian.

The first episode was released last September, called “The Highway. It revolves around a fictional character Claire, a young woman who is driving and she finds an electrical pole that’s fallen across the road along a highway. The game is like a mystery puzzle that welcomes you to a dimension of horror. The player needs to move the character to a location and collect pieces of evidence to help her solve the puzzle.

The second and the latest episode in the series is “The Goodbye Note,” which follows Richard P. Griffin, who is found writinga letter to his wife. The letter details the events of the previous 24 hours of his strange behavior as he suddenly drops everything and flies to Washington, DC. The player needs to keep him one step ahead of what is chasing him.

Both episodes are fun, adventurous and spooky point and click adventure games. It is sure to make the Halloween more exciting and trilling this year.
