Anthem and Doc.ai collaborate to start AI Data Trail on the Blockchain

Anthem and Doc.ai collaborate to start AI Data Trail on the Blockchain

Two US-based companies Anthem, a blockchain-based AI platform and Doc.ai, a leading health benefits specialist has partnered to carry out an AI data trail on the blockchain. The announcement was made earlier this month.

“We are pleased to partner with Doc.ai on this innovative study that can have near-term benefit for our employees and, longer-term, the potential to redefine how we treat disease and manage chronic medical conditions to achieve better-personalized health outcomes,” said Gail K. Boudreaux, CEO, Anthem.

The trail is expected to roll out this month and will span for 12 months. Both the companies will do a research with AI to determine its capabilities over its prediction of allergies in people. To carry out the trail, a team from Harvard business school will develop a framework for using Machine Learning, which will determine the perfect predictive model for allergies.

The predictive models will be based upon three factors, i.e. phenome: age, height, and weight, exposome: exposure to weather and physiome: physical activities. The data will be accumulated by the employees of Anthem and members of the public; helping in speeding up the process and benefit from the system’s modified health reports.

Blockchain and AI-based data trails are a fairly new concept. The data trails which are carried out on AI are created to allow people to gain control over their own health; which helps doctors and researchers to predict and change outcomes seamlessly. Additionally, Doc’s ai includes all aspects of the trail on a single platform.

“We are very excited to welcome Anthem as our partner in supporting and using technology to enable individuals to collect and own their health data while empowering data scientists using deep learning to collaborate with consumers, doctors, and researchers to find personalized healthcare solutions,” said Walter De Brouwer, Co-founder, Doc.ai.
