PUBG Officially Releasing On Xbox Next Month

PUBG Officially Releasing On Xbox Next Month
The Silicon Review
27 August, 2018

One of the Steam’s record-breaking hits, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) is finally moving to Xbox. However, the title of the game isn’t something that Xbox gamers fancy. This last man standing deathmatch game where players fight (even with a frying) to remain the last alive has become the talk of the town, but it has also gained a reputation as one of the buggiest titles in recent gaming history and the bug is worse in Xbox One compared to PC.

To everyone’s surprise, the Redmond tech giant Microsoft has made an announcement that the game is leaving the Preview Program on September 4 and will be released next month itself, which doesn’t seem to be a great idea. PUBG is not running flawlessly on PC and with an unfinished ‘Fix PUBG’ campaign, it might get the developers run into problems.

Looking into the bright side of this move, Xbox One is not so much in talks; it is currently lacking compared to PS4, but PUBG has the potential to bring back Xbox One back into the arena. It might not gain any profits in the current market, but in the long run, it will most likely make a much heftier profit.

PUBG is already taking a huge risk by rushing things and if it wants to survive and compete with the new games like ‘Battlefield V’ and ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’, it will have to work way harder for perfection. If the team fails to take a careful and thorough approach in fixing the game, PUBG could fail really badly.
