Breakthrough: American Researchers Develop New Technique similar to Telepathy
The Silicon Review

A group of American researchers have created a new technique which has the potential to make telepathy a reality among video game players.  The researchers from the University of Washington demonstrated a technique showing that three video game players can play games such as Tetris with the help of brain-to-brain interface method.

The collaborative research work was published in the Nature journal Scientific Reports.

The researchers showed two things- a brain-to-brain communication between two players and another person being able to communicate with others only through the brain.

The team chooses 16 people to play the game.

In the case of Tetris, a block at the top of the screen appears along with a line which is required to be completed at the bottom. In the new method, the blocks are visible to the senders but they can’t control the game. The receiver can only see the block but also can command whether to rotate the block to successfully complete the line.

After that, every sender can choose whether to rotate or not and then passes that message from their brains, through the internet and to the receiver’s brain.

Once the receiver gets the information, it is processed and after that the receiver sends a new message regarding the rotation; directly from the brain, expectantly finishing and clearing the line.
