Salesforce, a company known for its strong belief in sustainability, has come up with a new innovation in the form of an app. This app has been designed to keep the pollution levels of companies in check so that they can reduce their carbon footprint and give back to the environment. Salesforce has been using this app to check their own products and the emissions. The goal of this app, called the Sustainability Cloud, is positive social impact and it will be ready by next year.
“We’ve been thinking about how Salesforce can really take action in the face of climate change. Climate change is the biggest, most important and most complex challenge humans have ever faced, and we know right now, every individual, every company needs to step forward and do everything it can. We use the product to measure our footprint across all sorts of different aspects of our operations from data centers, public cloud, real estate,” stated Patrick Flynn, the Vice President of sustainability at Salesforce.
The interface of Sustainability Cloud looks similar to other Salesforce apps in order to prove a sense of familiarity to their customers.
