Nokia and Flipkart team up to launch the first branded smart TV. Although we knew the Nokia branded smart TV was coming soon, a launch date still eluded us. Now, the company has officially has started to send the launch event invites for the TV’s which is said to be scheduled on December 5^th.

The details about the TV are scarce, but the details about the audio system are revealed. Both Flipkart and Nokia are working with JBL to improve the sound quality and audio surround base of the smart TV. And it will also be the first time JBL audio technology will be utilized on a smart TV. Both the companies think that the audio is the only missing link in smart TVs today and is making a serious effort to right that wrong with JBL speakers.

Although Nokia hasn’t revealed anything about the size variants, it is said that the 55-inch model will be the largest sized model. The TV also will feature a 4k UHD panel with an intelligent dimming technology. The TV will also feature an Android 9 Pie OS, giving the users access to the Google Play store, Netflix, and many other channels. Other specialties of the smart TV are yet to be announced and the TV will be launched on December 5^th, 2019.
