Popular video game giant, Atari, is all set to step into the field of hospitality by opening its chain of hotels in USA. The first of the chain is to open in Phoenix, Arizona in about two years. The construction of the hotel will start in the fall of 2020. Las Vegas, Denver, Chicago, Austin, Seattle, San Francisco and San Jose are also gearing up to host hotels from the chain which are to be rented out at an affordable rate. This not-so-high-end chain has also declared that it was have areas having video game consoles where parties can also be held.

“We are thrilled to partner with GSD Group and True North Studio to build the first-ever Atari branded hotels across the United States. Together we’ll build a space that will be much more than just a place to stay,” said Fred Chesnais, CEO of Atari. “Atari is an iconic global brand that resonates with people of all ages, countries, cultures and ethnic backgrounds and we cannot wait for our fans and their families to enjoy this new hotel concept.” 

The brand is attempting to go for an old meets new look with its hotel chain. It wants to foray into immersive entertainment provided for all age groups with this new venture.
