Renowned costume designer Jacqueline brings to life the characters on screen in Greta Gerwig’s adaptation of Little Woman by clothing is the actors in period-worthy costumes that take the audience back to the quirky world portrayed in the famous coming to age novel. The famous designer has also provided costumes for notable actors like Emma Watson whilst she portrayed Belle in the Beauty and the Beast, Florence Pugh and Eliza Scanlen. This is the second time that Emma Watson would be donning the garb designed by the costume artist in Little Women.

“The first thing I do for any project is research the period. For "Little Women" I looked at contemporary photographs and paintings and at fashion magazines from the times, which were really just books on how to make things and small line drawings of what was fashionable.I also looked at pictures of artists and radical communities, and people who were using photography to represent a different way of seeing things. I felt like that was the spirit of the March sisters,” said the designer in an interview with CNN.

What puts Jacqueline apart from other designers is her ability to research a period and design costumes in such a way as to adapt to the period as much as they do to the actor providing a truly uplifting experience to spectators.
