Finnish Player Nokia bags IoT ...Finnish player Nokia has reached new heights, as it bagged a new deal with Telecom Argentina to offer IoT services to its enterprise customers in the country as well as in Latin America using Nokia’s Worldwide Network Grid (WING). This would be Nokia’s first deal In Argentina. Telecom Argentina is offering a scalable onboarding process to its IoT customers, which is operating in different business models.
This deal will be the first of its kind in Argentina, and it will use the fully virtualized and future-proofed WING infrastructure that is offered as a managed service. This will allow the companies to launch new IoT services faster and will also be secured. Nokia’s IMPACT platform will also be providing a device management system that is functionally an overall WING solution.
“We are expanding our capability to offer end-to-end solutions to our enterprise customers and solve their IoT-related needs with faster time to market. Nokia WING is helping us tap the expected growth of the IoT business in Argentina,” Fernando Freytes, IoT Manager, Telecom Argentina, said. With this new technology, Argentina can reinforce leadership that solemnly focuses on IoT providing not only connectivity but also help customers to maximize the potential of IoT.
