BMW in recent times has turned all its luxury cars into premium ones. Now the most popular has made an announcement about its all-new Golden Thunder Edition for its 8 Series cars. The edition vehicles will be produced at the BMW plant in Dingolfing starting from September 2020. This all-new premium car will be available in two astonishing shades of black- the sapphire black metallic and frozen black metallic.

Other features of the car include high-gloss black trim, completely shaking off the chrome in the standard model. Even the brake calipers are covered in the metallic black color. The car will have a royal look as it has gold accents on bumpers, rocker panels, mirror caps, and Coupe variant's rear spoiler. In the interior, the car will have merino black leather upholstery which has an aluminum sheet effect with gold trim on the center console. A dedicated badge with the name Golden Thunder is stitched into the front headrests.

BMW has introduced a gear selector that is made with CraftedClarity glass. It is surrounded by the Browers and Wilkins surround-sound system, which adds on to the premium feel. This edition will be available in the BMW 8 Coupé, Gran Coupé from BMW 840i series, and also in the new convertible series.
