Microsoft news Android app to introduce the latest features and designs
The Silicon Review
11 November, 2020

Microsoft has merged Microsoft News and Bing apps for Android with new updates. According to recent reports, the Redmond-based software giant has released a fresh update for the Microsoft News app on Android with a fluent design. You will find a new welcome screen for the merged Bing and News Android app. You will find that the Bing background has been disabled by default on the News version.

Microsoft News has been merged into the Bing app with an enhanced Dark mode. The user interface has been developed with fluent design icons and opens UI on both the Microsoft News and Bing app. The Microsoft News app enables you to hide news sources that you would not like to show up in your dashboard feed.

Microsoft has addressed the feedback provided by the customers. The latest Microsoft News for Android update is currently being pushed to Windows 10 Insiders. The update should be available to regular users before the end of November 2020. With fluent design becoming all the rage with Microsoft's apps and services, especially when it comes to icons, there's a third-party icon pack that does just that.
