Huawei is all set to make a strong comeback to the US markets through cloud services

Previously the US sanctions had put a chokehold on Huawei Technology’s smartphone and 5G businesses. Recently, Ren Zhengfei, founder of Huawei, has stated that the company will start making cloud computing the main priority. The founder has revealed that the company’s strength is not great in the cloud segment, so there is a dire need for a strong breakthrough. It is very difficult for Huawei just to follow the footsteps of other cloud giants like Amazon and Alibaba because they have unlimited access to funds in the US stock market. Companies like Amazon and Alibaba have vast businesses that span across various sectors like video streaming, ecommerce, and cloud computing.

Huawei is a company that is more focused on smartphones and telecoms. The founder is arguing that the company must learn from the success of other tech giants like Microsoft and Amazon, who are the forerunners in global cloud services. These companies mainly work on the platform as a service (PaaS) and infrastructure as a service (IaaS). Generally, in the PaaS, the consumers pay for various combinations of resources and computing infrastructure to deliver software and coding. In case, the consumers generally pay a fee to use services like data storage and networking.
