In recent times, Latin America is turning out to be one of the fastest-growing regional ecommerce markets in the world. Retail ecommerce growth in that region grew by a massive 36.7%, taking the overall value to $84.95 billion. President and CEO of international business-to-consumer shipping firm SkyPostal, Inc A.J. Hernandez, has stated that the shopping rush generally begins in November, but last year retailers have witnessed the rush in July. Since then, the rush hasn’t ended, and it has contributed heavily to the retailer’s success. Even if the region is now considered one of the fastest-growing places for ecommerce, we must not forget that the region is also one of the most economically complex places. The region is made up of almost 33 individual countries, and it also has 15 territories. Retailers can flourish in this region if they can employ an experienced third party for shipping. Hernandez is working closely with his company to guide it through the complex marketplace. Before the pandemic, people were unsure about giving out their credentials to ecommerce sites, and now due to Covid, people are more understanding, and the level of confidence in ecommerce people has become sustainable.
