Google Map, which has made commuting simpler, faster, and more accessible, adds the latest features in recent times. Now the tech giant has stated that it will add few more new features to Google Map to see the railway crossings during navigation. If the user is crossing a railway route, a banner may pop up which reads "expect delays." The firm has not confirmed the regions where this new feature will be available.

As per the recent updates, the feature will be available in the US. Google Maps features, in most cases, are universally available at the same time, so possibly most of the countries may get this new updated version of Google Map. These new features will help the users fetch information about the train passing, the arrival and departure time, etc.

This feature is already available on Google-owned Waze. Waze built this feature in collaboration with significant railway operators and Waze map editors around the world. This feature by Waze is available in the US, Canada, Mexico, France, UK, Italy, Israel, Brazil, Hungary, Argentina, Chile, New Zealand, Netherlands, Indonesia, and Ireland.
