MLB forges multi-year agreement with Citrix Systems to the improve remote working process
The Silicon Review
24 March, 2021

Major League Baseball (MLB) has stated that it has expanded its sponsorship portfolio through an extended agreement with Citrix Systems, Inc., an American multinational software company that provides server, application, and desktop virtualization, networking, software as a service, and cloud computing technologies. MLB has names the firm as its official workspace and also as its app delivery management partner.

As per the agreement, Citrix will provide the professional baseball league with a wide range of products to enhance and improve the remote working experience for its employees. In return, the company will advertise at the MLB events such as the World Series and the All-Star Game. Besides, Citrix will get an opportunity to advertise on the MLB Network Streaming service and the league's broadcasting partners ESPN and Fox.

Using Citrix will enable the MLB employees to maximize productivity and performance from wherever they are. Citrix has experienced a humongous growth throughout the COVID-19 pandemic due to the increased demand for their remote working products, which are robust, innovative, and user-friendly. The company also has an association with US professional sports and has previously formed partnerships with the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL) and Red Bull Racing.
