Fernando Machado, former Burger King Chief Management Officer (CMO), is all set to join the video gaming giant Activision Blizzard. He is leaving Restaurant Brand International (RBI), the parent company of Burger King, Popeyes, and Tim Hortons, to join video gaming giant Activision Blizzard as CMO. The video gaming giant owns some of the most iconic and renowned properties like Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Diablo, and Candy Crush Saga.

Before resigning as the CMO of Restaurant Brands International, he shared his awe-inspiring journey with the food sector giant. He stated that it has been amazing to work with such a huge brand. He said that the team's impact on the brands, especially Burger King, and work around food quality, sustainability, diversity, and inclusion. The brand now has a robust marketing team, which will make the company stand out.

As one final stamp on the Burger King brand, Mr. Machado rebranded the burger chain for the first time in 20 years, including restaurant remodeling, new food packaging, and a fresh new logo. Throughout his carrier, in RBI he has held some of the most successful ad campaigns. He has brought in so many firsts to the RBI food chain sector.
