Hexagon and Authentise collaborate todeliver an Open, End-to-End Quality AssuranceSolution

In a recent announcement, Hexagon, a UK-based Manufacturing Intelligence Company, has stated that it is collaborating with Authentise to deliver open, end-to-end quality assurance and software solutions for Additive Manufacturing (AM) workflow. Both the companies aim to connect the entire value chain that includes design and manufacturing operations and quality assurance to make AM more predictable, repeatable, and traceable.

Both the companies intend to develop solutions to further industrialize AM technology by digitizing every step of the workflow. The digitization of part design through production to the final product and quality assurance will help both the companies to combine technological capabilities. This will, in turn, connect the digital thread of a part and trace its pedigree. This is made possible by automating workflows between Hexagon's AM applications and Authentise's software equipment.

With Authentise, Hexagon will be building a next-generation framework that is meant for their customers to manage flexible and fully-digitized production workflows in the private cloud environments. The open and flexible systems will help both the firms respond quickly to customers' needs and integrate with their unique environments.
