Red Hat launches new cloud-nat...Red Hat, Inc., one of the most renowned and leading providers of open source solutions, in a recent press meet has announced the general availability of Red Hat's migration toolkit for virtualization, which will help organizations accelerate open hybrid cloud strategies by making it easier to migrate the current or already existing workloads to modern infrastructure in a streamlined in a wholesale manner. The company is bringing mission-critical applications based on virtual machines (VMs) to experience a smoother, more scalable experience while mitigating potential risks and downtime.
In an effort to help organizations break down the application of the traditional barriers between cloud-native workloads, Red Hat announced OpenShift Virtualization in 2020. With this platform, Red Hat brought traditional application stacks forward into a layer of open innovation, enabling customers to transform at their speed truly.
As this trend continues, Red Hat is working with its customers and partners to modernize many projects to help them enable cloud-native capabilities through migration toolkits that come with OpenShift. These offerings will also include the migration toolkit for virtualization by Red Hat, which helps migrate VMs at scale to Red Hat OpenShift.
