F5 to Acquire Cloud Security C...Threat Stack will offer F5 customers robust threat detection for cloud-based infrastructure
F5, Seattle-based application security and multi-cloud management company, has stated that it will be buying Threat Stack, a Boston-based cloud security company, to improve its visibility across application setup and workloads and adopt reliable consistency in the cloud sector. Threat Stack will be providing F5 customers with robust threat detection for cloud-based infrastructure and workloads.
Threat Stack's proactive risk management and threat detection services will offer new insight and will help to detect and mitigate threats in real-time. It will also bring technology and talent together, which will strengthen F5's security capabilities, and furthermore, it will broaden the cloud observability, capabilities, mitigation and actionable security perceptions for the customers.
It is reported that F5 will be buying Threat Stack for a humungous sum of $68 million. This transaction will add up to $15 million in revenue that equals the sum of the operating margin during the fiscal year ending of 2022. The deal is expected to close by the end of 2021, and F5 has not disclosed anything about the executive's availability.
