IBM’s Environmental Intelligence Suite would be beneficial in predicting the potential impacts from the weather and climate change

In the digital world we live in, companies often overlook climate change and other hazards caused by them to nature. Recently, IBM has made an announcement that it has released an AI-powered suite with environmental intelligence to help companies battle climate and weather risks that may affect the business. This new suite is also expected to reduce the complexity of compliance reporting. The latest offering from IBM is offered as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) that helps in monitoring disruptive climate conditions like wildfire, severe weather, air quality, and flooding. An alert will be immediately sent if the solution detects any disruption.

In a statement released by Big Blue, it was mentioned that IBM’s Environmental Intelligence Suite would be beneficial in predicting the potential impacts from the weather and climate change across the enterprise using risk analytics. The suite is also well-crafted to gather insights into anticipated disruptions and prioritize response efforts and mitigation. IBM’s Environmental Intelligence Suite will help companies automate and streamline their environmental risk management and fully operationalize the processes. This includes factors like carbon reduction and accounting to meet the environmental goals. The software will make use of weather data acquired from IBM and other advanced geospatial analytics that the companies already use.
