Trina Storage, a popular name in the energy storage segment, has recently made an announcement that it has launched a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) utility-scale battery storage cabinet. Trina storage is a part of China’s Trina Solar, a company focused on manufacturing solar PV modules. Trina Storage is an expert in delivering storage solutions for the renewable energy segment. Trina Storage made its debut in February and quickly gained immense traction in the market. In the Intersolar Europe that was held last week, the company had unveiled a new energy storage solution called Elementa.
The latest solution is a modular and fully integrated energy storage solution that is specifically designed for plug-and-play installation with fewer cabling requirements and easier logistics when compared to Trina Storage’s competitors. The design of Elementa is standardized and has significantly reduced the installation time. According to the latest corporate video posted by Trina Storage on YouTube, it is certain that the solution’s liquid-cooled cabinet is 1,800kWh. The cabinet is designed in such a way that it can be customized according to the user’s preference. By full-integrated Trina Storage means that the solution includes safety features, batteries, thermal management, and battery management.
